Exciting times at my kid's elementary school! Last week was Career Day, representing Orcada Media Group, I had the privilege of sharing my passion for Graphic Design and Branding with the students.

We had a fantastic time exploring the captivating world of branding together. With the use of the Good Old Lucky Charms box as an example. The kids dove headfirst into the creative process, designing their very own cereal boxes. From brainstorming catchy slogans to creating eye-catching logos, they poured their hearts into their projects, leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit of branding greatness.

The courtyard was buzzed with energy as their vibrant creations came to life. Witnessing their ingenuity and seeing their visions materialize was truly inspiring. The future of branding is in capable hands.

I couldn't be prouder of these budding brand visionaries. They learned firsthand that every product has the potential to tell a compelling story and capture the attention of consumers.

A big shoutout to Mountain View MVES for organizing such a fantastic event and giving these young talents a taste of the branding world. The seed of creativity has been planted, and I'm excited to watch these promising individuals flourish and leave their mark on the branding landscape.

One of the cleverest things that brands can do is turn negative reviews, comments or experiences into something positive.

A great example is when Orangina tackled the sediment issue at the bottom of the bottles by encouraging consumers to, “shake the bottle to wake the drink.“

Any publicity is good publicity. Luckily, today on social media, EVERY comment/reaction/interaction, whether good or bad, gives the subject more visibility.

Remember, there is opportunity in everything. You just have to look for it.

Love this!

As a business owner, this is a great way to pay it forward."The older gentleman in this picture noticed the younger one reading a book. And just sat down and asked him questions about the book and what his next steps are as far as his education and future.

Then he took his information and offered him mentorship and opportunities. Now these two men don't know one another at all. But I share this because this is what's missing.

This is not shown by media. THIS is what needs to be done! It was amazing for me to see this on my train ride into work. Might not mean much to some. But to those that see will see the bigger picture, this is for you. Remember, "Each one, Teach one". Have a blessed day."
